Human beings were not designed to live disconnected from truth.
That is why dishonesty eventually stands out so clearly.
THE BLIND FIGHTING AMONGST THEMSELVES
It becomes almost tragic watching deceivers eventually deceive one another.
People attempting to outmaneuver,
outlie,
outcheat,
or outuse each other.
And eventually the collapse comes:
scandals,
betrayals,
exposure,
humiliation,
loss.
The pattern repeats constantly throughout history.
Darkness eventually consumes itself.
HIGH PRICES TO PAY
The liar’s package carries hidden costs:
Broken families.
Divorce.
Fear.
Blame.
Anxiety.
Lawsuits.
Isolation.
Sleeplessness.
Distrust.
And perhaps worst of all…
a person slowly disconnects from their own conscience.
From their own humanity.
From God.
From others.
Even from themselves.
The outer image may still look impressive…
while the inner kingdom quietly collapses.
HOW DID YOU PROSPER?
One of the saddest sights in life is watching people place enormous value upon possessions and almost none upon people.
Using others.
Stepping on others.
Manipulating others.
All for temporary gain.
Yes…
ill-gotten success may appear powerful for a season.
But wrong rarely sustains itself long-term.
Seeds eventually produce harvests.
And dark seeds produce painful crops.
WHAT PRICE?
It is not merely WHAT a person has…
but HOW they came to possess it.
That becomes the real measurement.
There is a joy attached to doing what is right that no deception can imitate.
A peace.
A dignity.
A freedom.
Yes, strive.
Build.
Prosper.
Achieve.
But never at the cost of losing your soul in the process.
Because eventually…
everyone harvests the field they planted.
