DARK FORCES GET SCARED FOR A CHANGE WHEN LIGHT ENTERS IN
Evil gains room to operate when it remains hidden, excused or ignored.
Bring it into the light of truth, however, and its disguises begin to fail.
What is exposed can finally be confronted—and what is confronted no longer has to control you.
There are subjects many people would rather avoid.
Evil is one of them.
Some dismiss it entirely. Others see it hiding behind every difficulty. Neither extreme helps us very much.
Mature spiritual awareness does not require us to live in fear, suspicion or fascination with darkness. It requires us to recognize destructive influences, examine our own choices and remain firmly committed to truth.
Evil prefers to work without being identified.
It hides behind excuses.
It borrows the language of entitlement.
It disguises selfishness as necessity.
It presents temptation as harmless entertainment and then leaves someone else to pay the price.
Bring it into the light, however, and its disguises begin to fail.

PAUSE FOR CAUSE.
The objective is not to become preoccupied with evil.
The objective is to stop being naïve about it.
REPENTANCE
Repentance is often presented as punishment, humiliation or proof that someone is unworthy.
I see it differently.
Repentance is an honest return.
It is making things right with God, ourselves and, wherever possible, the people affected by our choices.
We all have errors, boo-boos, mishandled events, failures to respond and moments when we caused harm. Our conscience has an interesting way of remembering what we would prefer to forget.
LOL—it can remain quiet during the activity and become a full-time commentator afterward.
Repentance begins when we stop arguing with what we already know.
What did I do?
Why did I do it?
Who was affected?
What did I become while doing it?
What must I now change?
Being sorry is important, but sincere repentance does not end with sorrow. It becomes visible through changed direction, repaired behavior and a renewed relationship with God.
Grace does not pretend that nothing happened.
Grace makes it possible for what happened to stop defining us.
KNOW WHAT LIES—LITERALLY—OUT THERE
Once our eyes are open, we become more aware of what can interfere with our peace, purpose and spiritual progress.
Dishonesty lies.
Pride lies.
Greed lies.
Addiction lies.
Resentment lies.
Manipulation lies.
They tell us that we are in control while quietly taking control away from us.
This does not mean every setback is caused by a supernatural force. Human choices, trauma, illness, unhealthy relationships and ordinary circumstances can all produce genuine hardship.
Prayer and spiritual guidance can be valuable while we also seek appropriate medical, psychological, legal or practical assistance.
Truth does not become less spiritual because it arrives through qualified help.
Discernment means looking honestly at the whole situation.
KNOW YOUR RIGHTS
It is easy to go through life in denial because denial asks very little of us today.
Its price is collected tomorrow.
Ignoring a problem does not transform it. It allows the problem to become comfortable.
For an ostrich, hiding its head in the sand may make a colorful illustration. For someone made in the image of God, it cannot become a permanent life plan.
You are here to awaken—not to sleep through your own life.
You have the right to seek truth.
You have the right to establish boundaries.
You have the right to leave destructive circumstances safely.
You have the right to ask for help.
You have the right to reject shame while still accepting responsibility.
You have the right to grow beyond the person you once were.
Spiritual freedom does not mean doing whatever we please. It means no longer remaining helpless before what repeatedly harms us and others.
BLESSED BE JESUS THE CHRIST
A great price was paid so that humanity could return to the grace of Almighty God.
At the center of the Christian message is Jesus Christ and the redemption he made possible.
Freedom, liberty, forgiveness and reconciliation are offered to those willing to receive them. From there, we become stewards of what has been entrusted to us.
We do not merely receive grace.
We become responsible for what we do with it.
Do we extend mercy?
Do we tell the truth?
Do we resist what corrupts us?
Do we protect those placed in our care?
Do we behave privately according to the values we display publicly?
The spiritual life is not proved by what we claim during comfortable moments. It becomes visible through the decisions we make when deception would be easier, selfishness would be profitable or nobody else would know.
God knows.
We know.
Eventually, the fruit knows too.
NOT RELIGION—SPIRITUAL PRINCIPLES
Jesus demonstrated a way of living acceptable to God.
He showed us what love looks like when it costs something.
He demonstrated compassion without surrendering truth.
He forgave without approving wrongdoing.
He served without becoming weak.
He confronted hypocrisy without becoming a hypocrite.
Those are not merely religious phrases. They are spiritual principles capable of changing how we live, work, love, forgive and respond to adversity.
Many voices offer to guide us.
I chose Christ after reading the Gospels and examining the life he demonstrated.
Every person must do some sincere exploring here. Borrowed conviction will not carry us through every test. Eventually, we must know what we believe and why we believe it.
Our bodies require food, rest and care.
Our minds require knowledge, stability and support.
Our spirits also require nourishment.
Do not neglect any part of yourself while claiming to honor the whole.
THEY FEAR BEING EXPOSED
Darkness depends upon concealment.
Deception is strongest when no one questions it.
Manipulation succeeds when the person being manipulated has been trained to distrust their own judgment.
Abuse continues when silence protects the abuser more than truth protects the harmed.
Corruption grows when everyone knows but nobody speaks.
Exposure does not mean public accusation without evidence. It does not authorize gossip, revenge or reckless judgment.
It means bringing truth into the proper light, through the proper channels, with courage, wisdom and fairness.
Sometimes exposure begins privately:
I have been lying to myself.
I have been excusing this behavior.
I have been participating in something that violates my values.
I have been ignoring what my conscience keeps showing me.
That kind of admission can be shocking.
It can also be liberating.
When evil is examined in the light of reality, God is glorified—not because darkness deserves our attention, but because truth reveals that darkness does not possess the final authority.
THIS MESSAGE IS NOT FOR EVERYONE
Some people do not want to examine what is troubling them.
They want relief without revelation.
Freedom without responsibility.
A different life without different decisions.
This message is for the person who senses that it is time to look honestly at the obstacles, patterns and influences that have been plaguing or preying upon their peace.
Not every mysterious problem will receive an immediate answer.
Not every burden will disappear because we read a book or say a prayer.
But understanding can help us name what has remained vague. Naming it can help us confront it. Confronting it can help us choose our next faithful and practical step.
FINAL THOUGHT
Evil does not need us to worship it.
Sometimes it needs only our silence, indifference or cooperation.
The answer is not fear.
The answer is light.
Tell the truth. Accept responsibility. Seek help. Practice discernment. Remain close to God—and stop protecting what has been stealing your peace.
PEARLS INSIGHT (SEO)
Spiritual discernment is the ability to recognize destructive behavior, examine it truthfully and choose a healthier path rooted in faith, repentance and personal responsibility. Bringing darkness into the light does not mean living fearfully; it means refusing to let secrecy, denial or manipulation control your spiritual growth.
PEARLS FROM THE BOOKS
IT IS FINISHED… YOU CAN STAY, BUT EVIL HAS TO GO examines spiritual struggle, Christ’s redemptive work and the importance of recognizing influences that interfere with peace and purpose.
The goal is not fascination with darkness.
The goal is freedom through truth.
PEARLS CONNECTION
What behavior, relationship, secret or personal pattern have you been excusing because confronting it would require change?
You do not have to expose everything to everyone.
Begin by becoming completely honest with God and yourself.
Light enters through that opening.
RICHIE SPEAKS
You cannot remove what you refuse to recognize.
You cannot correct what you continue to excuse.
And you cannot keep asking God to clean the room while you keep hiding the dirt underneath the rug.
LOL—the rug is beginning to look like a mountain.
Lift it.
Look honestly.
Then let the cleanup begin.
FINAL SAY
Evil loses power when truth brings it to light.
Do not become fascinated with darkness.
Become committed to truth.
Do not surrender to fear.
Stand in faith.
Do not hide from what must change.
Face it, correct it and walk forward in the freedom God intended for you.
