Some burdens…
were never yours…
to carry. The world,
dark forces and others
project on you, what was put on them.
Refuse this and be free of it all
For years I believed that worrying was somehow helping.
If I worried enough…
planned enough…
analyzed enough…
perhaps I could control tomorrow.
I eventually discovered something freeing.
Worry never changed tomorrow.
It only robbed today.
Peace arrived the day I stopped trying to become God…
and simply trusted Him to be God.
There is tremendous freedom in knowing the world doesn’t rest upon our shoulders.
It never did.
OPEN YOUR HANDS
We often grip tightly to things we cannot control.
The future.
Other people.
Yesterday’s mistakes.
Tomorrow’s uncertainties.
Yet clenched fists cannot receive new blessings.
Only open hands can.
Faith isn’t pretending problems don’t exist.
Faith is believing God is greater than every problem we face.
The burden becomes lighter the moment we stop carrying it alone.
SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT

that God has been asking you to surrender?
PUT LEGS ON IT
Pray before you panic.
Release one fear today.
Forgive one regret.
Take one deep breath.
Trust God’s promises more than your emotions.
