The greatest discovery…
isn’t finding
who the world
thinks you are.
It’s discovering
who God created before it
was tampered with.

One of the first questions people ask when they meet someone is,
“What do you do?”
Rarely do they ask,
“Who are you?”
We’ve become experts at describing our occupations…
our accomplishments…
our possessions…
our positions…
Yet many of us quietly struggle with our identity.
If a career ends…
who am I?
If my health changes…
who am I?
If people reject me…
who am I?
If success disappears…
who am I?
Those questions eventually visit every life.
I’ve discovered that our identity was never meant to rest upon temporary things.
It was always meant to rest upon eternal truth.
LOOK IN THE RIGHT MIRROR
The world measures us by performance.
God begins with relationship.
The world says,
“Prove your value.”
God says,
“You already have value.”
The world asks,
“What have you accomplished?”
God asks,
“Will you walk with Me?”
That changes everything.
When we know who we are…
we stop chasing approval.
We begin living with purpose.
Freedom quietly replaces fear.
Peace replaces comparison.
Confidence replaces insecurity.
SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
If everything temporary disappeared…
what eternal truth would still remain about you?
That’s where your identity lives.
PUT LEGS ON IT
Spend time with God.
Read His promises.
Encourage someone who doubts their worth.
Stop comparing yourself.
Thank God for creating you uniquely.
Live from acceptance…
not for acceptance.
RICHIE SPEAKING
The greatest freedom I’ve found wasn’t becoming someone different.
It was finally believing who God said I already was.

FINAL THOUGHT
Never allow a changing world…
to redefine an unchanging soul.
Know whose you are…
and you’ll better understand who you are.
