The world reads signals… whether you realize it or not.

Act like prey—and something will eventually respond.

The question is… what are you projecting?

If you haven’t learned it yet, understand this:

Cowardice attracts predators.

A bully feeds off fear. The more someone shows it, the more the bully is encouraged to act. That reaction becomes an invitation. When the behavior changes, the targeting often stops—or never begins.

THE CORNERED RAT

Even the smallest creature will fight when pushed into a corner. A rat, a snake, even a field mouse will stand its ground when threatened.

Why?

Because survival overrides fear.

That same instinct exists in us—but many ignore it.

THE ELDERLY, CHILDREN, AND THE VULNERABLE

Some people are targeted because they appear weak, reduced, or exposed. Society recognizes this and builds protections around them.

Still, predators look for opportunity.

This includes environments, behaviors, and moments where someone appears unguarded.

It’s not about blame—it’s about awareness.

WORTHY NOTE

Everyone has the right to live freely.

But reality still exists.

Certain behaviors increase exposure:

• Isolating yourself in vulnerable environments
• Ignoring instincts or common sense
• Relying on others for safety instead of awareness
• Impaired judgment through substances
• Trusting situations that don’t feel right

Awareness is not fear—it’s protection.

VICTIMS AND MARTYRS

Some people unknowingly project vulnerability.

Others dramatize it.

The “poor me” mindset… or the emotional performance meant to gain attention or control.

Both can signal weakness to those looking for it.

HUMAN NATURE

Society creates structure—laws, communities, systems—to reduce harm.

Why?

Because disorder exists.

We don’t prepare after something happens—we prepare before.

CRUISING FOR A BRUISING

When someone acts out—aggressive, reckless, or attention-seeking—they eventually attract a response.

The wrong one.

And when that happens, consequences follow.

INSTIGATORS

Troublemakers often don’t realize they are setting themselves up.

If they get away with it once, they push further.

But there is always a line.

And when it’s crossed—correction comes.

LOW SELF-ESTEEM

Feeling unworthy, unsure, or small can become visible.

Predators recognize it.

Not consciously always—but instinctively.

When confidence rises, that signal disappears.

And so does much of the unwanted attention.

WHEN COMING AND GOING

Move with awareness.

Be deliberate.

Be present.

Confidence, focus, and clarity send a message without words.

And most trouble will pass you by without a second thought.

We cannot control others.

But we can change what we project.
