It’s not just another holiday
There are hundreds of years behind
this day. But more importantly
Blood was necessary to preserve it
In America, what we don’t spend enough time noticing or commenting on now-a-days is the fact that we can all go where we want & have our say about anything when we do. Special note however to people who complain, whine, get angry, make trouble and all the unrest they generate: YOU can only do those unprofitable, disruptive behaviors because of the Republic i.e. The United States of America for which it stands. Try that in any other country and you are jailed, tortured with the key thrown away
DIFFERENCE of OPINIONS
When speaking with others whose beliefs differ from mine, I am made aware that in our common history, people died so we can disagree without fear. Even when I see dysfunction in someone, there can be no better place to work out solutions than in the good ole USA. NOTE: I said “good ole” because that system works very well. It was tried & tested. Results don’t lie. It is not broken. Let’s respect this more
LAWBREAKERS
I draw the line on anyone who uses our hard fought, high price freedoms to break the law. That is not a healthy freedom & must be reined in. Same for anyone who goes overboard, becomes radical, & imposes on the rights of others when they do
WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR LIFE FOR ANOTHER?
Stop & think about this as it is a very powerful question with an equally powerful answer. What criteria is used when considering dying for another. Are they worthy? Young, innocent, just another ordinary person who would need saving?
PEOPLE HAVE ANSWERED THIS QUESTION
I am referring to our countries history where people I do not know gave their lives believing at the time, it was the right thing to do, whatever that was. This went on for decades until we reached this very point in time but with a caveat attached
SOME OF OUR LEADERS
Have become too radical, lost their focus & calling, forgotten about the people they represent & are more attuned to acting out their dysfunction through abuse of power, ego-feeding, that is pride driven. I say this to them
I WOULD NOT DIE TO PRESERVE THAT
If someone gives their life willingly for a cause, I am pretty sure it is a good cause. In Russia, China, North Korea & even Iran, I would not make or even consider the act of sacrifice so those leaders can live on. There has to be a deeper reason for life
AMERICA MUST REMEMBER THIS
Our Congress has lost touch with the core value and start-up dynamics upon which this great country was founded. Those that stood, & there were millions before us, handed us the current baton to keep that sacrifice worthy. Today, I am disappointed seeing the neglect & abuse from these vain, do-nothing leaders
FURTHERMORE
These illegal immigrants, that have managed to enter into this country incorrectly have no idea what this post is talking about. If they came in legally, they would hear my words & act on them. We would share that pledge of Allegiance together
AMERICA CAN BE A PARADISE
If our country was run by true leaders who problem solve, imagine what Amercia would be like, if you can. The quality of life would be almost beyond words while we all enjoy more of the American concept & continue to perfect it. United we stand is no myth nor is divided we fall either. Let’s all remember the sacrifices made that got us here & if kept up, will take us to new heights never imagined
