Holding on…
feels like strength.
Letting go…
takes far greater courage. Keep anything in
and it makes a home in you. Universal Law
states: whatever you get into
gets into you. Hate? Resentment? Payback? Woe

One of life’s greatest misunderstandings is believing that forgiveness excuses what happened.
It doesn’t.
Forgiveness doesn’t declare that wrong suddenly became right.
It simply refuses to let yesterday continue controlling today.
I’ve met people who carried hurt for years.
Some carried it so long that it quietly became part of their identity.
The burden wasn’t only what someone else had done.
The burden became carrying it every day afterward.
Bitterness is a heavy suitcase.
The longer we carry it…
the heavier it becomes.
FREEDOM BEGINS INSIDE
Forgiveness is not forgetting.
It is choosing peace over permanent resentment.
It doesn’t always restore a relationship.
Sometimes wisdom requires healthy boundaries.
But forgiveness always restores something inside us.
It makes room for joy again.
For hope again.
For laughter again.
For life again.
God never asks us to forgive because the other person deserves it.
He asks us to forgive because He wants us to live free.
SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
Who continues to occupy space in your heart because you refuse to release them?
Perhaps the prison door has been unlocked…
but you’re still holding the key.
PUT LEGS ON IT
Pray for the strength to forgive.
Release one old resentment.
Speak peace instead of revenge.
Choose healing over bitterness.
Let God become the Judge.
Allow your heart to become available for joy again.
RICHIE SPEAKING
I’ve discovered that forgiveness wasn’t something I gave away.
It was one of the greatest gifts God ever gave back to me.
PEARLS CONNECTION
📖 Pearls for Girls: In Seeking Cupid, Don’t Be Stupid reminds us that healthy relationships begin with healthy hearts. Forgiveness doesn’t erase wisdom or remove healthy boundaries. It removes the poison that bitterness quietly pours into our own lives.
FINAL THOUGHT
Forgiveness…
doesn’t change yesterday.
It changes tomorrow.
