The weight you carry…

the guilt you replay…

the chains you’ve held…

They have been broken.

The captive has been set free

At the cross, Jesus spoke two of the most powerful words ever spoken.

“It is finished.”

Not almost finished.

Not nearly finished.

It is finished.

Those words were not a hope.

They were a declaration.

They signaled the completion of the work that saves, cleanses, restores, and sets us free.

THE POWER OF THE FINISHED WORK

We live in a world that constantly tells us what we must do to be enough.

But the cross tells us what has already been done so we never have to earn it.

Jesus didn’t come to give us another religion.

He came to give us redemption.

He didn’t come to add more rules.

He came to remove our burden.

He didn’t come to condemn us.

He came to set us free.

When we understand that at the cross, everything was paid in full…

we begin to live differently.

We stop striving.

We start trusting.

We stop performing.

We start resting in His finished work.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT

If Jesus has already finished the work…

why do we continue trying to finish what He already completed?

PUT LEGS ON IT

Stop replaying your past.

Receive His forgiveness.

Walk in freedom.

Extend grace to others.

Focus on today.

Serve with joy.

Live from His victory, not for His approval.

RICHIE SPEAKING

The older I become…

the more grateful I am that grace is not something I earn.

It’s something I receive.

PEARLS CONNECTION

📖 It Is Finished reminds us that the cross wasn’t the beginning of God’s love for us.

It was the demonstration that His love for us never ends.

FINAL THOUGHT

You don’t have to carry it.

You don’t have to fix it.

You don’t have to earn it.

It is finished.

Now live in the freedom Jesus already won for you.
