Life is not always easy.
Life is not always fair.
Life is not always comfortable.
But despite the storms, setbacks, and disappointments…
Life itself remains a gift.

In a world filled with complexity, there are some questions that deserve simple answers.
One of those questions is:
Is life good?
My answer is yes.
Not because every day is perfect.
Not because suffering does not exist.
Not because challenges never come.
But because life itself remains one of the greatest gifts ever given.
THE CIRCUMSTANCE TRAP
Many people allow their circumstances to answer the question for them.
If things are going well, life is good.
If things are difficult, life is bad.
But circumstances change constantly.
They come and go like weather.
One season brings sunshine.
Another brings storms.
One season brings abundance.
Another brings struggle.
If we base our answer on changing conditions, then our peace will always be changing too.
LIFE IS BIGGER THAN THE STORM
Every person faces obstacles.
Every person experiences loss.
Every person encounters disappointment.
No exceptions.
Sometimes life presents challenges we never saw coming.
Sometimes the mountain appears too high.
The burden too heavy.
The problem too large.
Yet even in those moments, life itself remains valuable.
The storm is real.
But so is the sky above it.
RETURN TO THE MOMENT
Many people live too far into the future.
Worrying.
Predicting.
Fearing.
Imagining worst-case scenarios.
There is wisdom in preparation.
But there is also wisdom in returning to the present moment.
Reality exists now.
The answers we need are often found now.
The strength we need is available now.
The opportunity to live is happening now.
THIS TOO SHALL PASS
One of the most valuable truths I have ever encountered is simple:
This too shall pass.
Good times pass.
Bad times pass.
Pain passes.
Success passes.
Failure passes.
Embarrassment passes.
Fear passes.
Everything moves.
Everything changes.
The storm eventually runs out of rain.
THE LESSON OF NATURE
Look around.
Nature continually reminds us that life is good.
The sunrise.
The ocean waves.
The stars.
The mountains.
The birds singing before dawn.
The owls calling through the night.
The flowers opening toward the sun.
None of them seem worried about tomorrow.
They simply participate in life.
And in doing so, they reveal something important.
Life wants to be lived.
THE GREAT RECOVERY
I remember reading about people who lost everything during economic collapses.
Some believed life was over because their finances were over.
But money is not life.
Possessions are not life.
Status is not life.
Life existed before those things arrived.
Life remains after those things leave.
You can earn money again.
You can rebuild.
You can recover.
But once life itself is abandoned, the opportunity to rebuild disappears.
YOUR PROOF
If you are reading this, you already possess evidence.
You made it this far.
Think about everything you have survived.
The fears.
The losses.
The disappointments.
The uncertainty.
The mistakes.
The heartbreaks.
The setbacks.
Yet here you are.
Still standing.
Still learning.
Still growing.
Still participating.
You made it.
THE YOUNG AND THE OLD
For those just beginning the journey:
Others have traveled before you.
They faced challenges too.
They stumbled.
Fell.
Recovered.
Learned.
Prospered.
And continued.
You will too.
For those further along the road:
Your life stands as testimony.
You are living proof that difficult seasons can be survived.
That hope can return.
That strength can be found.
That life continues.
THE INVITATION
This planet is overflowing with opportunities.
Opportunities to love.
To learn.
To grow.
To help.
To discover.
To serve.
To wonder.
To stand in awe.
You have been invited to participate.
What a remarkable gift.
THE PAYOFF
Are there problems?
Of course.
Are there improvements to make?
Certainly.
Are we all still learning?
Absolutely.
But beneath every challenge remains an undeniable truth.
The sunrise still rises.
The stars still shine.
The oceans still roll.
The birds still sing.
And life still offers itself to us every day.
So if someone asks me:
“Is life good?”
My answer remains the same.
Yes.
Life is good.
And it is worth living with all your heart.
