One of the most fascinating discoveries I have made over the years is that life continually responds to us.
Not always immediately.
Not always the way we expect.
But it responds.
Some people spend years waiting for life to make the first move.
Life quietly waits for them instead.
It has always been this way.
A seed waits for someone to plant it.
An instrument waits for someone to play it.
A canvas waits for an artist.
A field waits for a farmer.
A friendship waits for someone to introduce themselves.
Opportunity waits for movement.
Life is wonderfully interactive.
RESPOND FIRST
Many people pray for open doors while standing comfortably outside the building.
Others ask for opportunity while refusing to prepare themselves for it.
Some ask for change while protecting every habit that prevents it.
Life gently replies,
“When you’re ready…
I’ll be here.”
It isn’t withholding.
It is responding.
THE FIRST STEP HAS POWER
Every meaningful journey begins with movement.
One conversation.
One application.
One introduction.
One apology.
One act of forgiveness.
One decision.
One courageous step.
It rarely begins with certainty.
It usually begins with willingness.
Once movement begins…
Life begins moving with us.
THE LAW OF PARTICIPATION
Have you noticed that the people who seem to experience the most are usually participating the most?
They ask questions.
They volunteer.
They explore.
They introduce themselves.
They remain curious.
They don’t know everything.
They simply refuse to sit on the sidelines while life unfolds without them.
Participation awakens possibilities.
Observation alone rarely does.
YOU ARE PART OF THE ANSWER
Sometimes we ask,
“Where is God?”
Perhaps another question deserves equal attention.
“Where am I?”
Am I available?
Am I teachable?
Am I moving?
Am I responding?
God has an extraordinary way of meeting people who are willing to walk toward what they believe He has placed before them.
Not because they know the whole journey.
Because they trust enough to begin.
DON’T WAIT FOR PERFECT
Perfection has delayed more dreams than failure ever has.
Waiting until everything feels right often means waiting forever.
Life grows while moving.
Wisdom grows while practicing.
Confidence grows while doing.
Faith grows while trusting.
You don’t become prepared by waiting.
You become prepared by participating.
RESPOND TODAY
Perhaps life has already placed something before you.
A person to call.
A dream to begin.
A kindness to offer.
A mountain to climb.
A business idea.
A book to write.
A prayer to pray.
Whatever it is…
Answer it.
Because something remarkable happens when you do.
