Hope feeds the soul quietly and steadily. Remove hope from a person and despair quickly rushes in to occupy the empty space. Spiritual hunger follows

Hope…
the poor man’s bread as it is often called.
How many times have we eaten from this table and still continue to do so every single day?
“Prepare for the worst but hope for the best.”
Interesting saying because it reveals something deeply human within us all:
We are designed to hope.
No person alive has escaped eating their portion of hope while journeying through life. We snack on it constantly while waiting for clarity, answers, healing, opportunity, relief, or better days to arrive.
Until satisfaction finally comes…
hope helps us cope.
TAKE AWAY HOPE AND YOU MOPE
One should be very careful about removing hope from another person.
Hope sustains people.
It allows someone to continue carrying difficult burdens under less-than-favorable circumstances while still believing that tomorrow may improve.
The moment hope disappears…
something else arrives instantly.
DESPAIR
Despair literally means hopelessness.
It is the feeling that one has reached the end of the rope with nowhere left to turn.
And when hopelessness settles deeply into the soul, people begin shutting down internally.
This was never the intended design for mankind.
HOPE IS A SANCTUARY
Hope provides a resting place for the soul.
A place to pause…
to breathe…
to reassess…
to gather strength before continuing onward.
Life often presents overwhelming situations.
I understand that.
But do not let the circumstance become greater than YOU.
How?
Activate hope.
It requires surprisingly little effort to begin.
The temptation is always to surrender completely to fear, pressure, darkness, confusion, or exhaustion.
But hope quietly says:
“Not yet.”
GIVE UP THE REIGN
Often when things seem unbearable, a small sign appears:
A pause.
A breakthrough.
A sunrise.
A kind word.
A moment of relief.
A tiny opening in the storm clouds.
The old horsemen once understood something powerful:
When the horse prepares to leap…
do not pull back on the reins.
Let the leap happen.
Too many people panic at the exact moment breakthrough is about to occur and unintentionally stop their own forward momentum.
HOPE CALLS OUT
Hope keeps the doors of possibility open.
It invites opportunity.
It allows solutions to arrive.
It keeps life moving forward.
No guarantees perhaps…
but without hope there are no possibilities at all.
To remain hopeful is to quietly summon help.
HOPE SO
How many times in movies and in real life has someone asked:
“Is there any hope?”
And despite medicine, logic, science, circumstance, or probability…
someone answers:
“There is always hope.”
That statement alone contains enormous power.
Because hope understands something the fearful mind often forgets:
Life is greater than the problem.
The Universe still moves.
The sunrise still arrives.
The heart still beats.
Possibility still exists.
And even for the hopeless person…
there remains hope.
