One promises comfort.

One feeds the ego.
Another strengthens the soul.
One satisfies for a moment.
Another changes a lifetime.
The remarkable thing about wisdom is that it quietly asks us to look farther down the road than our emotions usually do.
The easiest road is not always the best road.
The hardest road is not always the wrong road.
Character often grows where convenience refuses to go.
God seldom reveals the entire journey.
Instead, He faithfully provides enough light for the next step.
That is where trust begins.
That is where faith grows.
That is where purpose quietly takes shape.
