Some prisons…
have no bars.
Only memories
we refuse
to leave behind.
Years ago I visited an old historic home.
Every room told a different story.
One room was filled with laughter.
Another held family photographs.
Another contained letters from generations long gone.
As I walked from room to room, a thought quietly entered my mind.
Many people do the same thing emotionally.
Some never leave the room where they were hurt.
Others remain in the room where they failed.
Some continue living inside yesterday’s disappointment.
Others decorate rooms built from fear, resentment, guilt, or regret.
Eventually they forget…
the house has many more rooms.
KEEP WALKING
God never intended one painful chapter to become your permanent address.
Life has seasons.
Faith keeps moving.
Hope opens another door.
Grace invites us into rooms we never imagined.
Forgiveness unlocks them.
Healing furnishes them.
Peace begins to live there.

Which room have you been living in…
long after God opened another door?
PUT LEGS ON IT
Leave one old regret behind.
Forgive one old wound.
Walk into one new opportunity.
Pray with expectation.
Believe that tomorrow still has something beautiful waiting for you.
