Some burdens…
were never assigned
to you. You picked them up
along the way or had
them thrust on you. Let go

I once watched movers unload a heavy truck.
Every box had a label.
Kitchen.
Bedroom.
Office.
Fragile.
Each box had a destination.
No one carried every box into every room.
They carried only what belonged there.
Life has taught me that many of us do just the opposite.
We carry yesterday into today.
We carry guilt that has already been forgiven.
We carry someone else’s expectations.
Someone else’s anger.
Someone else’s disappointment.
Eventually we become exhausted, not because life is impossible, but because we’ve accepted responsibilities that were never ours.
CHECK THE LABEL
Not every burden belongs on your shoulders.
Some belong to the past.
Some belong to other people.
Some belong to God.
Wisdom begins by asking,
“Whose burden is this?”
SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
Peace often arrives, not because life becomes lighter, but because we finally put down what never belonged to us.
PUT LEGS ON IT
Release one resentment.
Forgive one offense.
Stop trying to control another person’s choices.
Accept God’s grace.
Carry today’s responsibilities.
Leave tomorrow where it belongs.
RICHIE SPEAKING
Some of the greatest strength I’ve ever experienced came from finally admitting I didn’t have to carry everything.
PEARLS CONNECTION
📖 It Is Finished reminds us that Christ completed what we never could.
Freedom begins when we stop carrying what He already carried for us.
FINAL THOUGHT
Travel lighter.
You’ll discover you can go much farther.
