Isn’t always better.

Sometimes…

Less…

Allows us…

To appreciate more.

QUALITY OVER QUANTITY
THE WINNER… STILL THE CHAMPION

I recently enjoyed…

A tall glass of fresh carrot juice.

Nothing fancy.

Nothing expensive.

Just simple.

Refreshing.

Healthy.

And satisfying.

What made it special…

Wasn’t the carrot juice.

It was that I don’t have it every day.

The surprise…

Was part of the reward.

AHHH… THE SIMPLE THINGS

There is a quiet wisdom…

Found in moderation.

If we indulge constantly…

We slowly lose…

Our appreciation.

The extraordinary…

Becomes ordinary.

The special…

Becomes expected.

Sometimes…

Less really is more.

THE BIRTHDAY SHRIMP

I once heard of a wealthy man…

Who had fresh Caribbean jumbo shrimp…

Flown in…

Only once each year…

For his birthday.

Someone asked…

“Why don’t you enjoy them more often?”

His answer was priceless.

“I wouldn’t enjoy them as much.”

There is great wisdom…

In those few words.

Quality…

Protected the experience.

LESS… CREATES VALUE

Think about it.

A meaningful vacation…

Instead of constantly traveling.

A deep conversation…

Instead of endless chatter.

A handful of faithful friends…

Instead of hundreds of acquaintances.

A memorable meal…

Instead of constant overeating.

Purposeful work…

Instead of endless busyness.

One meaningful embrace…

Instead of affection…

Without depth.

The list never ends.

QUALITY ALWAYS GOES DEEPER

We often chase…

More possessions.

More experiences.

More attention.

More followers.

More recognition.

Yet…

Our hearts usually remember…

The moments…

That carried meaning…

Not volume.

A quiet sunrise.

A child’s laugh.

A handwritten note.

A warm conversation.

A simple meal…

Shared with someone you love.

These become…

Life’s treasures.

THE RICHIE REVERSE

Suppose…

You could have everything…

Whenever you wanted.

Would anything…

Still feel special?

Scarcity…

Creates appreciation.

Gratitude…

Creates satisfaction.

Simplicity…

Creates peace.

QUALITY OF LIFE

Real wealth…

Isn’t measured…

By how much…

We accumulate.

It is measured…

By how deeply…

We appreciate…

What we already have.

Humility…

Keeps abundance…

From becoming excess.

Gratitude…

Keeps blessing…

From becoming entitlement.

FINAL THOUGHT

Everything we own…

Everything we experience…

Everything we enjoy…

Has been entrusted to us…

For a little while.

Use it well.

Enjoy it deeply.

Share it generously.

Remember…

Everything is on loan.

We are only…

Passing through.
