Everything you truly want in life—

asks for courage first. Got courage?

First and foremost—

we should understand WHY we risk.

It is to gain.

Nothing meaningful is achieved without some form of risk attached to it.

The return may be material, emotional, spiritual, personal or professional—

but the principle remains the same:

No risk.

No gain.

HAVE LOVED & LOST

One of life’s greatest risks is love.

To love another person is to expose yourself to possible pain, disappointment and loss.

Yet the gain—

companionship,

intimacy,

shared moments,

understanding,

connection—

far exceeds the fear for many who truly live.

The risk was worth it.

PUT IN YOUR TIME

Time itself is also a risk.

Every investment of time is a wager on something we believe matters.

Relationships.

Work.

Dreams.

Learning.

Adventure.

The gain may become fulfillment, wisdom or reward.

The risk?

Time never returns once spent.

Spend wisely—

but keep spending.

RISKING TO SUCCEED

Success always demands movement.

Effort.

Failure.

Adjustment.

Persistence.

Sometimes money is lost.

Sometimes comfort disappears.

Sometimes reputation takes a hit.

But those who truly gain learn to navigate setbacks instead of fearing them.

TALLY HO & OFF WE GO

Adventure awakens the entire being.

Skills activate.

Awareness sharpens.

Curiosity comes alive.

The risk is discomfort, exhaustion or getting bruised along the way.

Still—

the living itself becomes the reward.

WELL WORTH THE EFFORT

Speaking up.

Contributing.

Trying.

Participating.

All carry risks.

Embarrassment.

Rejection.

Misunderstandings.

Humiliation.

But silence and avoidance slowly rob the soul of participation in life itself.

WITH ANY RISK COMES A PRICE

Every meaningful pursuit requires “skin in the game.”

Commitment.

Effort.

Exposure.

Sacrifice.

The stake itself creates seriousness and movement.

Without risk—

people rarely finish what they begin.

BELIEF COMES WITH RISK

Teachers risk with students.

Parents risk with children.

Employers risk with workers.

Friends risk with trust.

Love risks with vulnerability.

Life itself is built upon investment and uncertainty.

YES TO THE BUTTERFLIES

Sweaty palms.

Shaking knees.

Fear.

Doubt.

Butterflies.

These are not always warnings to retreat.

Sometimes they are signals saying:

THIS MOMENT MATTERS.

STEP FORWARD.

COME & BE COUNTED.

TAKE COMFORT IN THIS

You may fail.

You may stumble publicly.

You may say the wrong thing.

Miss the mark.

Feel embarrassed.

So what?

That is part of the price of participation.

The important thing is to recover—

reset—

and begin again.

THE ROAD WELL TRAVELED

Those who truly lived all share something in common:

They risked.

They failed.

They learned.

They continued.

And eventually they gained something far greater than comfort—

they gained experience, character and life itself.

GAIN COMES FROM RISK

If you truly want the gain—

you must accept the risk attached to it.

There is no other road.

I’ll see you out there too.
