yet never fully LIVE.
Your gifts, talents, purpose and inner fire were never meant to remain unopened.
If the inner core of a human being is never activated…
one remains strangely absent from themselves.
Think of a ship without a rudder.
The tides decide.
The winds decide.
Circumstances decide.
Life simply carries the person wherever outside forces push them.
But this was never the intention.
A GIFT
Imagine receiving a beautiful gift and never opening it.
Or purchasing something valuable that is never used.
Or living inside a house that never truly becomes a home.
That is what happens when a person never discovers what was placed within them.
The package exists for a reason.
So do YOU.
THE INNER STIRRING
At some point in life, something begins stirring within us.
For some it happens early.
For others much later.
A hunger appears.
A drive to seek…
explore…
question…
experiment…
ponder…
without fully understanding WHY.
It is the soul trying to awaken itself.
THE UNFOLDING
That quiet inner voice saying:
“Go here”
“Try this”
“Don’t do that”
exists within everyone.
And the more we engage with it, the clearer it becomes.
But here is something important:
Mistakes usually appear first.
Errors.
Wrong turns.
Embarrassments.
Failures.
These often accompany the awakening process.
OUCH ON SOME
Why?
Because human beings are designed to learn through unfolding.
Trial and error are part of the journey.
Growth often arrives through friction.
And yes…
sometimes failure stings deeply.
Especially when the lesson hurts enough to make trying again difficult.
But even that pain has purpose.
NO PEACE OR STILLNESS
One of the signs that your deeper self is trying to awaken is inner restlessness.
Your routine begins feeling empty.
The same cycle no longer satisfies.
Why?
Because the soul requires growth the way the body requires food.
Without growth…
the inner person begins starving quietly.
NO ACCIDENT
Think of purpose like a muscle.
It grows stronger through use.
And many things in life require YOUR specific activation in order to exist.
That is where passion and purpose meet:
The user…
and the use for them.
Suddenly life gains meaning.
THE REASON
Your talents, gifts, abilities and identity were planted intentionally within you.
Not randomly.
They were meant to be discovered…
activated…
developed…
and shared.
First you discover WHY you are here.
Then others begin seeing it too.
FALSE REASONS
Many people attempt to substitute false rewards for true purpose.
Overindulgence.
Excess.
Repetition.
Temporary pleasures.
But endlessly repeating empty cycles while hoping fulfillment magically appears only deepens the emptiness.
That path eventually creates exhaustion and confusion.
WRONG DIRECTION TO TRAVEL
Henry David Thoreau once said:
“Most men live lives of quiet desperation.”
That desperation often comes from unfinished purpose.
Something within the soul remains incomplete.
And when purpose cannot move outward properly…
the turmoil turns inward.
PONDER THIS
To exist…
yet never truly live…
never open the inner package…
never allow your gifts to emerge and serve others…
may be one of life’s deepest tragedies.
Think of a seed buried in the ground.
It must crack open.
Push upward.
Fight resistance.
Endure storms.
Survive predators.
But eventually…
it breaks through the surface and becomes what it was always designed to become.
Now imagine the seed that never tried.
Dormant.
Unused.
Unfulfilled.
YOU CAN DO IT
The beautiful part is this:
Life is also designed to strengthen the seed during the struggle.
Resistance develops strength.
Challenges develop endurance.
“Good timber does not grow with ease.
The stronger the wind, the stronger the trees.”
PREPARE TO GET UNDERWAY
Twenty years from now, you will likely regret more of the things you DIDN’T do than the things you did.
So throw off the bowlines.
Leave the safe harbor.
Catch the wind.
Explore.
Dream.
Discover.
Activate your passion.
Travel well…
