Life does not stop handing out sour moments.

The question is not whether lemons will come.
The question is what you will do when they do.

Did a lemon visit with you?

Something not to your liking…
something sour…
something distasteful…
something personal or professional that showed up uninvited?

Do not be a sourpuss.

Mishaps, deeds, circumstances, pratfalls, setbacks, and wild cards—the unexpected—are dealt and dished out every day, all day long, all over this planet.

Misery, dislike, sadness, and woe are no strangers here.

We have all had our share of sorrow and despair.
We have all felt a letdown.
We have all watched someone else go through pain up close too.

So what to do?

That remains a very valuable subject indeed.

MAKE MINE A DOUBLE

TAKE THOSE LEMONS AND SQUEEZE THEM DRY

When you are ready, go toward the pain, the problem, the issue, so it does not haunt you continuously.
Because it will, if you let it.

Then enter the short-term pain period that comes with it.

See it for what it is.

Let sorrow and circumstance make themselves known.
Let whatever is showing up, show up.

That is reality.
That is where truth is working.

Some of the truth will be revealed.
Some of it will remain hidden.
But what is necessary for your visit will visit with you, guaranteed, if you approach it.

Then in due time, you are set free.
The intruder, unsuccessful, must go its own way.

WORTHY NOTE:
Liking or disliking a circumstance is immaterial.
Instead, deal with it.

LONG-TERM PLEASURE AWAITS

Then at some point, all on its own, the pain that once felt so powerful begins to diminish.

Why?

Because you visited with it.
You observed it.
You did not run from it.
You did not let it own the whole house.

A process called realization kicks in, and that is a marvel in and of itself.

Those invasive circumstances begin their journey away from you while you remain here.

If handled correctly, the next phase begins automatically:
the long-term pleasure phase.

Freedom and liberty are activated.
Now they go to work.

Your portion.
Your heart’s desire.
Your relief.
Your next breath.

All free to help you.

MOMENTS ARE WAITING

I do not wish to lessen or diminish a worthy circumstance by oversimplifying it.

No.

I am saying that everything has its moment, and we do well to let certain moments pass without trying to hold on to them or manipulate them.

In other words:
do not add to it,
do not take away from it,
but observe it
and endure it.

There are other moments waiting to present themselves.
We do not want those moments held up.
We want them released to arrive.

ALLOWED IF PRESENTED

During a time of trial, if you have something to say, say it.
If you have something to do, do it.

If not, then watch the event rise and growl…
while it weakens…
and then whimpers away…
while you stay here.

Some brief suffering or discomfort may appear,
only to disappear soon enough,
if you let the lesson run its course.

WORTHY NOTE:
Being cool, calm, and collected is no myth.
Objectivity is sanctuary.

APPLE OF GOD’S EYE BE YOU

The Universe favors you, not the defeat or robber event trying to take up residence in your life.

There are always roaming forces that will try to interfere with your peace using the false promises and lies of life.

But there is a far greater loving force that has the beginning, the during, and the final say.

Let it do what it said it would do.

“I will be with you always.”
“Nothing can snatch you from my hand.”

That is not small comfort.
That is big truth.

So when life brings the sour, do not just pucker up in pain.

Learn from it.
Face it.
Let it pass through.
Let it teach.
Then let it leave.

Lemonade anyone?

Pucker up and quench away.

LOL.
