If someone repeats something often enough, the hearer can develop a familiarity with the subject that begins to feel like reality.
But familiarity and truth are not the same thing.
There is a difference.
Repetition is powerful.
In fact, repetition can be hypnotic.
Many agendas throughout history have been carried on the backs of repeated messages, not necessarily truthful ones.
SELF-HYPNOSIS
I will listen to almost anything.
But I reserve the right to allow it to verify itself within me.
There is an inner system greater than any external system if one chooses to cultivate it and learn its promptings.
Be careful of wanting something so badly that you convince yourself it is true simply because you desire it.
That is self-hypnosis at work.
INCOMING
I am a proponent of observation through awareness.
Simply watching what is presented without adding to it or subtracting from it can become remarkably informative.
The emphasis is on the word “in.”
Your inner self will often report reality accurately…
if you do not interfere with it.
ACCOUNT
Children must first be told, guided, coached and nurtured.
Eventually their inner mechanisms activate.
Then they begin seeing things for themselves.
At the same time, they learn accountability.
This is part of growing into wisdom.
This is the true way of life.
YOUR PART
Human beings are motion machines.
We are designed to respond, act and participate.
A mature person examines not only the role they are playing…
but the role they are not playing.
Why?
Because we possess the power to affect outcomes.
And we are continually invited to do so.
A GRAIN OF SAND
Move a single grain of sand on a beach.
The entire landscape has changed.
Pause and think about that.
One grain.
One movement.
Yet the whole arrangement becomes different.
Now imagine the endless combinations possible.
That is why every action matters.
We affect far more than we realize.
CAUSE AND EFFECT
As human beings journey through life, where we go and what we do creates effects both seen and unseen.
Every encounter influences something.
Every decision changes something.
With billions of people moving, choosing and acting every day, the world remains in a constant state of transformation.
Cause and effect never rest.
COMPREHENSION DENIED
When you add plants, animals, insects, oceans, weather systems, bacteria, molecules and countless other forces into the equation, the complexity becomes overwhelming.
The mind simply cannot contain it all.
And perhaps that is exactly as it should be.
Why?
CREATION SPEAKS OF THE CREATOR
Creation contains categories beyond our ability to count, measure or fully understand.
We acknowledge them because they exist.
We did not originate them.
We merely participate in them.
As grand as creation is, even more fascinating is the Creator from whom it came.
OUR CREATION EXAMPLES
Complexity means consisting of many interconnected parts.
Human beings marvel at their ability to build machines, vehicles, cities and technologies.
Yet in many ways we are only imitating what already exists.
We create from what was created.
REVELATION
Our accomplishments seem impressive until compared to the microcosm and macrocosm surrounding us.
Life-supporting systems operate continuously beyond our awareness.
Many cannot even be documented, tracked or fully understood.
At some point the Source draws the line.
Only the Creator can sustain it all.
THE SOURCE
One thing deserves your highest attention.
What is housed within you.
Remove the life force and the body ceases its function.
The Source of all life powers every living thing.
Without that Source…
nothing would exist.
Life itself is a gift.
MEDITATE AND PONDER
It has been said that God took a piece of clay, hid priceless value within it and then allowed it to live.
The unfolding would come from the inside outward.
The purpose would reveal itself through the journey.
The value was already there.
Spend time developing the inner self.
There is more journeying ahead than behind.
