I have always admired a compass.

It doesn’t vote.
It doesn’t negotiate.
It simply points.
I’ve often wished people were more like that.
Our world changes daily.
Opinions shift.
Trends come and go.
Emotions rise and fall.
Yet truth remains remarkably steady.
The compass doesn’t create north.
It simply acknowledges its existence.
FINDING TRUE NORTH
Many people live by whatever feels right today.
Wisdom asks a different question.
“What is right?”
Feelings are valuable.
They simply make poor navigators.
Character is built when conviction becomes stronger than convenience.

A ship without a compass may still move.
It simply has no guarantee it is moving in the right direction.

Choose one principle you’ll refuse to compromise.
Keep your word.
Honor your commitments.
Tell the truth kindly.
