The world…
teaches us
to speak.
God wants to teach us
to listen. Be still and know

One of the quietest places I’ve ever visited was a garden.
No applause.
No hurry.
No competition.
Only birds.
Gentle wind.
Flowing water.
Growing things.
The strange part was this…
the quieter everything became around me…
the louder my thoughts first became.
Only after they settled…
did I begin hearing something deeper.
Wisdom.
Conviction.
Peace.
Hope.
I’ve learned that God rarely competes with noise.
He patiently waits until we’re ready to listen.
THE INNER GARDEN
Every heart becomes a garden.
Whatever we plant…
eventually grows.
Whatever we water…
eventually multiplies.
If we continually water fear…
fear grows.
If we water gratitude…
joy grows.
If we water resentment…
bitterness grows.
But if we cultivate faith…
hope begins flowering in places we thought were barren.
SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
What have you been watering lately?
Because that’s probably what tomorrow will look like.
PUT LEGS ON IT
Spend fifteen quiet minutes with God today.
Walk without your phone.
Pray honestly.
Read a chapter of Scripture.
Notice creation.
Encourage someone without expecting anything in return.
Plant peace.
Water hope.
RICHIE SPEAKING
Some of the greatest conversations I’ve ever had with God happened when I finally stopped doing all the talking.

FINAL THOUGHT
The world becomes louder every year.
Your soul doesn’t have to.
Guard your inner garden.
That’s where tomorrow quietly begins.
