A man stood before a mirror every morning.
He studied his appearance.
Adjusted his clothes.

One day he became frustrated and blamed the mirror.
“The mirror makes me look tired.”

An old friend standing nearby laughed and said:
“The mirror isn’t doing anything.”
“It is simply reporting.”

A mirror does not create.
It reflects.
It reports.
