The world does not need more males.

It needs more men.

Men who keep their word.

Men who stand their ground.

Men who protect, provide, guide, and serve.

Men who understand that strength and kindness belong together.

Men,

Yes, I am talking to you.

I would like to point out a few things for your consideration.

We have a tremendous responsibility to ourselves, our families, our communities, and to one another.

Being a man is more than biology.

It is a calling.

It is a duty.

It is a standard.

OUR HERITAGE

For thousands of years, men built, defended, explored, hunted, created, protected, and sacrificed.

They faced uncertainty.

They endured hardship.

They accepted responsibility.

Excuses did not put food on the table.

Complaining did not build homes.

Character mattered.

Action mattered.

Results mattered.

The world still needs those qualities.

WHAT MAKES A MAN LOOK GOOD?

Not wealth.

Not status.

Not popularity.

Character.

A man looks good when he takes care of himself.

A clean appearance.

A healthy body.

A disciplined life.

A sense of purpose.

A man at his best is something remarkable to behold.

HE PROTECTS WHAT MATTERS

A real man protects.

Not only physically.

Emotionally.

Financially.

Spiritually.

Mentally.

His family knows he is present.

His children know they are safe.

His wife knows she is valued.

His friends know he can be counted on.

His community knows he contributes.

HE KEEPS HIS WORD

A man’s word is his bond.

Promises matter.

Commitments matter.

Integrity matters.

The easiest thing in the world is making promises.

The difficult thing is keeping them.

A man does both.

HE REMAINS TEACHABLE

A real man is approachable.

Changeable.

Willing to learn.

Strong enough to admit mistakes.

Wise enough to seek counsel.

Secure enough to grow.

Pride hardens.

Humility strengthens.

HE DOES WHAT IS RIGHT

Not what is easy.

Not what is popular.

Not what is profitable.

What is right.

Even when it costs him.

Even when no one is watching.

Even when standing alone.

Character is revealed when convenience disappears.

WHAT MAKES A MAN LOOK BAD?

Drunkenness.

Neglect.

Cowardice.

Dishonesty.

Selfishness.

Abandoning responsibility.

Shaming others.

Breaking trust.

Looking out only for himself.

These things weaken a man and eventually weaken everyone around him.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A MALE AND A MAN

A male is born.

A man is built.

A male follows impulses.

A man develops character.

A male seeks comfort.

A man accepts responsibility.

A male demands respect.

A man earns it.

The journey from male to man requires effort, discipline, growth, and self-examination.

It is worth every step.

THE FAMILY NEEDS MEN

Children need guidance.

Communities need leadership.

Families need stability.

The world needs examples.

Men who show up.

Men who finish what they start.

Men who keep moving forward.

Men who refuse to surrender their integrity.

STRENGTH AND KINDNESS

Some believe strength and kindness are opposites.

They are not.

The strongest men are often the kindest.

The most capable men are often the gentlest.

The most confident men do not need to dominate others.

Strength under control is powerful.

Strength in service is noble.

A CALL TO MEN

Men, raise the standard.

Take responsibility.

Protect what matters.

Keep your word.

Lead by example.

Be fair.

Be just.

Be dependable.

Be humble.

Be courageous.

Be willing to do the hard thing when the hard thing is right.

The world notices.

Your children notice.

Your family notices.

And whether you realize it or not, other men are watching too.

Practice these things with all your heart.

Become the man you were meant to be.

And help another man become one as well.
