Everyone has ideas without legs.

The difference is not who gets them.

The difference is who works them.

It doesn’t matter what field you are in.

Real estate.

Cooking.

Writing.

Relationships.

Parenting.

Business.

Ministry.

Health.

Dreams arrive everywhere.

Ideas show up uninvited.

The question is never:

“Did you get the idea?”

The question is:

“What did you do with it?”

HEY…
HERE’S AN IDEA.

I get them all the time.

Most people do.

Some come while driving.

Some arrive while showering.

Some appear during prayer.

Some show up during conversations.

Some arrive in the middle of the night and refuse to leave.

Ideas are plentiful.

Execution is rare.

THE GRAVEYARD OF GREAT IDEAS.

Somewhere there exists a cemetery filled with abandoned books.

Unstarted businesses.

Unwritten songs.

Unpainted paintings.

Unbuilt inventions.

Unspoken words.

Unlived dreams.

Not because the ideas were bad.

Because the work never followed.

An idea without action is like a seed left in a package.

Potential exists.

Results do not.

I AM AN AUTHOR…
NOW WHAT?

When I published my first book, I thought the hard part was over.

I was wrong.

Writing the book was only half the journey.

The other half was introducing it to the world.

Meeting people.

Answering questions.

Doing book signings.

Giving interviews.

Listening to readers.

Learning what resonated.

Improving.

Growing.

Serving.

The lesson was simple.

Creating something is one skill.

Bringing it to life is another.

IF YOU WORK IT…
IT WILL WORK.

Not every idea succeeds.

Let’s get that out of the way right now.

Some ideas fail.

Some need adjustment.

Some arrive before their time.

Some are lessons disguised as opportunities.

But every worthwhile idea deserves a chance.

A chance to breathe.

A chance to stand.

A chance to prove itself.

Too many people quit before the idea has had a fair opportunity to succeed.

The farmer plants the seed.

Then waits.

Waters.

Cultivates.

Protects.

Trusts.

The harvest comes later.

THE WORLD REWARDS MOVEMENT.

I have noticed something.

The world rarely rewards wishing.

The world rewards movement.

Movement creates momentum.

Momentum creates opportunity.

Opportunity creates results.

Results create confidence.

Confidence creates more movement.

And the cycle continues.

One small step often changes everything.

THE PAYOFF.

The real reward is not the success.

That surprises people.

The real reward is the becoming.

The growth.

The learning.

The stretching.

The overcoming.

The discovery of what you are capable of.

The idea changes you while you are trying to bring it into existence.

That is the hidden treasure.

As I wrote throughout the Pearls Series:

“The journey is often the reward wearing work clothes.”

The destination matters.

But who you become getting there matters even more.

WHAT ABOUT FAILURE?

Failure is not the opposite of success.

Failure is part of success.

Every inventor knows this.

Every entrepreneur knows this.

Every artist knows this.

Every parent knows this.

Every author knows this.

The path is rarely straight.

The road often twists.

The important thing is to keep walking.

KEEP BUILDING.

Keep learning.

Keep adjusting.

Keep improving.

Keep creating.

Keep serving.

Keep sharing.

The world needs what is uniquely yours to contribute.

THE IDEA’S LAMENT

Of good ideas, I have plenty.

I don’t expect to run out soon.

Of successful ideas, not many.

Of bad ideas, not immune.

But when I stumble onto something worthy,

And before you see the perk,

One thing I know for certain—

You have got to get it to work.

WHAT THEN?

When the idea arrives…

Welcome it.

Examine it.

Refine it.

Then put some legs underneath it.

Let it walk.

Let it stumble.

Let it grow.

Let it become.

Because ideas were never meant to live in your head.

They were meant to change the world.

One act of courage at a time.
